Вy Decision No 357 of 29 June 2017, the Council of Ministers obliged the administrative authorities to bring their Electronic Document Exchange Systems by 1 September 2017 in accordance with a single technical protocol approved by the Chair of the State e-Government Agency.
The purpose of the measure is to exchange electronic documents containing electronic statements between administrations only in accordance with the technical protocol laid down. Administrative authorities should only use electronic document circulation systems that implement this protocol before the statutory deadline of 1 January 2018.
Early implementation of the protocol is expected to ensure the immediate start of the process of mitigation of administrative burden and to positively influence the processes of providing administrative services to citizens and businesses.
