On August 19, 2020, the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications published a draft Concept for the development of Artificial Intelligence in Bulgaria until 2030. Taking into account the important role of this document and its strategic importance for the future development of the sector on national level, LIBRe Foundation presented its position in a dedicated statement to the Ministry, the authors of the Concept and applicable stakeholders.
The experience of the organization in the development of sector-specific and union policies for adoption and implementation of new technologies in each professional field and in private life, incl. new and emerging applications of Artificial Intelligence, is reflected in the commented legal, ethical, social and socio-economic aspects of the application of AI systems, along with the strategic and organizational features and educational needs identified by our experts at national level.
