The Road Map includes measures and activities for implementation of the strategic goals of the e-Governance Development Strategy 2014-2020, as well as the responsible institutions and the necessary financial resources.
In order to achieve the Strategy goals, a review and analysis in the following key areas has been provided:
the existing legislation at EU and national level regulating the development of e-Governance and e-Government respectively;
the existing strategic documents at EU and national level that represent the strategic framework for e-Governance development;
the currently functioning e-Government architecture in Bulgaria;
projects that are currently implemented or planned for implementation in this area.
On the basis of this review an initial analysis of technical capabilities and characteristics of the current implementation was drafted in order to assess readiness for future implementations. Thus, the level of compliance of a number of planned or already implemented initiatives was assessed both in terms of the obligations arising from the country’s EU membership and in relation to the technological development aimed for.
The public consultation on the Road Map is open to all interested parties and will continue from 10.02.2016 to 24.02.2016. Interested parties could receive further information on the Roadmap and participate in the public discussions here (in Bulgarian only).
