In the beginning of 2016 LIBRe Foundation started a Framework Initiative for SMEs Development. For this first year, eight organisations from the SMEs sector have been using LIBRe’s services in legal advice and opinions on a range of topics within our expertise.
A main area in which the experts of LIBRe Foundation are supporting SMEs in Personal Data Protection, by providing:
- (Legal) consultations on the integration of measures for customers’ data protection and privacy into the design of software applications and/or embedded technologies for security and access to information and resources;
- (legal) consultations on development of privacy policies and rules on personal data protection for data controllers;
- consultations on development of legal documents establishing the rights of personal data holders, including General Terms and Conditions for Use of Services, Cookies Policies, etc.; and
- development of a full Compliance Programme for personal data protection.
