The introductory meeting on LIBRe Essay Contest 2016 took place on 29 March 2016 at the Rectorate of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski ".
Experts from LIBRe Foundation introduced to the students the current ICT Law issues. Discussions covered the areas of privacy, copyright, trademarks, encryption and security, cloud computing, Internet of Things, and others.
Participants expressed interest in the presentation of the first edition of LIBRe Essay Contest 2016 which motivates young people with interest, knowledge and creative thinking in the field of information society. The contest’s first prize is free participation in a three-week international ICT Law Summer School organised every year by the Institute of Legal Informatics in Germany. There are awards for second and third place as well and all participants will receive a certificate for participation.
