2016 EU Code Week is taking place between 15 and 23 October, allowing people all around Europe to discover coding and have fun.
EU Code Week is a grass-roots movement that celebrates creating with code. The idea is to make programming more visible, to show young, adults and elderly how you bring ideas to life with code, to demystify these skills and bring motivated people together to learn. The initiative was launched in 2013 and is run by volunteers, each year welcoming more and more Code Week Ambassadors who organise coding activities in their countries.
This year 46 countries from Europe and beyond joined the EU Code Week.
53 events are being held across Bulgaria during 2016 EU Code Week. They vary from robotics and playful coding activities for children to mobile app development for adults. Find a full list of the events and how to join them here
