The Digital Day 2018 is a one-day event which gathers together high-level stakeholders in the fields of digital technology and telecommunication - to be held today in Brussels. The organizer of the event is the European Commission under the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
To achieve its goals, such as promoting the investment in European digital technologies and infrastructures and the development of digital technologies in the EU, the Digital Day 2018 will present sessions on the priorities. Some of the priorities are: “Digital day one year after: investing together in the future”, “Joining forces and data to personalise healthcare” and more.
The event will also follow-up on the agreements reached during Digital Day 2017 in Rome. Last year’s event concluded agreements and actions related to High-Performance Computing (HPC), digital transformation of jobs and skills, digitisation of industry, and connected automated mobility.
