The CARISMAND Project partners gathered in Sofia for the third workshop on the development of the key outcomes of the project: CARISMAND Toolkit and CARISMAND Cultural Map, which will benefit experts from all levels, as well as people interested in improving disaster management, through a deep understanding of cultural differences.
On November 10, 2017, 28 representatives of partner organizations, part of CARISMAND gathered in Sofia, Bulgaria, to discuss the next stages of the development of the project, as well as the structure and content of the two instruments. The Toolkit and the Cultural Map are valuable auxiliary sources that are being developed within the CARISMAND project and will be published at the end of the project period. They will help raise public awareness, promote good practice based on knowledge of local cultural specificities, and encourage citizens to discover their individual strengths and the strengths of their community in disaster preparedness, disaster response and subsequent recovery.
