The Digital Day is part of the official celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the Treaties of Rome. The event will take place in Rome, on 23 March 2017. It is organised by the European Commission and the Republic of Italy, in collaboration with the Maltese Presidency of the European Union.
The Digital Day will put Europe’s digital challenges and future in the spotlight. It will explore the exponentially increasing role of digital in daily life of Europeans, their economy and society.
The Digital Day will be also the occasion for the launch of the new European Interoperability Framework (EIF). The new framework will provide a common approach to public administrations across Europe in their efforts to design and implement end-to-end and better quality digital public services for citizens and businesses.
