LIBRe Foundation is a partner of the Regional Forum on Cybersecurity and Cybercrime

The LIBRe Foundation expert Ivo Emanuilov will participate in the Fourth South East European Regional Forum on Cybersecurity and Cybercrime, which will take place on 30th and 31st of October at Inter Expo Center Sofia.


The LIBRe Foundation expert Ivo Emanuilov will participate in the Fourth South East European Regional Forum on Cybersecurity and Cybercrime, which will take place on 30th and 31st of October at Inter Expo Center Sofia.

The forum, organised by the International Cyber Investigation Training Academy, the General Directorate Combating Organised Crime and the IDC Bulgaria and in partnership with the Council of Europe, will bring together cyber security experts from the public and private sectors, law enforcement officials from over 20 countries, non-governmental organisations, universities and the media. The LIBRе Foundation is a content partner of this year's forum.

The speakers will include Steven Wilson, the head of the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3), Europol, Damarys Vigil, Attorney in Microsoft Digital Crime Unit for CEE Multi-Country, Luigi Rebuffi, Secretary General of the European Cyber Security Organisation, as well as representatives from Facebook, Paysafe Group, the General Directorate Combating Organised Crime, IDC Bulgaria and the Commission for Personal Data Protection.

As a participant in the "Future" panel, Ivo Emanuilov will focus on the pros and cons of drones regulations.

During the discussion, emphasis will be placed on topics such as:

Drones: aircraft or IoT?

Safety and cybersecurity risks and challenges for drone operators

Liability of drone operators and critical service providers for cybersecurity attacks, inaccurate data and data breaches

Towards a “no-blame culture” for unmanned aviation?
